The disposable camera app for work parties nobody has to run.

Nobody is ever assigned to photograph the leaving do. Which is why there are never any photographs of it, and why someone who gave six years to a company leaves with a card and a receipt for the bar tab.

A send-off nobody was assigned to photograph.

There is never a designated photographer at a work thing, so there are never any photos, so the person leaving gets a card and nothing else. This is the cheapest possible fix: a code on the table and forty people who each take five.

  • Your logo on every photo
  • Live wall on a screen

10 shots each · develops the next morning

How it works

  1. Create it, print the cards

You pick the shot count and when it opens, then put a card on each table. There is an optional add-on that puts the company mark on every photograph.

  2. Ten shots each

Sixty people and one evening. Ten covers the night and is few enough that nobody is photographing the carpet by eleven, which is the real risk here.

  3. It develops the next morning

Everyone gets to go home first. You circulate one roll on Monday instead of asking forty colleagues to send you what they took.

Ten shots each is plenty

A work party does not need twenty-five shots a person. Forty people taking ten is four hundred photographs of an evening that would otherwise have produced none, and a lower number keeps the roll from filling with the same three tables. The count is set when you create the event and applies to everyone.

It can look like it came from the company

For anything branded there is a logo add-on that puts your mark on every photograph in the roll, and a live wall that puts the developed roll on a screen in the room. Both are optional and neither changes how the thing works for guests. They still scan a code and shoot, with no account and nothing to install beyond the app itself.

The live wall

The screen by the bar, exactly as it looks

This is a real wall from a real Crowdroll evening: a wedding, four guests shooting, five photos in. Photos land up there seconds after they are taken, framed and credited, while the roll itself stays sealed until morning: the room sees the party happening, nobody sees anyone else’s camera roll.

At your party the header line is your event, and the wall fills as the night does.

The logo add-on

Your mark on every photograph

Every Crowdroll photo carries a small stamp in the corner: on the live wall, on the downloads, on the prints. Out of the box it wears ours; that’s it on the photograph here, and on every print on the wall above.

With the logo add-on it wears yours instead: your company’s mark riding every photograph of the night, in every place a photograph goes. Guests take the photos, the photos carry the brand: sponsorship that people keep.

Try the real thing

Point your iPhone camera at this

No install, no form, no sales call. The Crowdroll camera opens as an App Clip in a couple of seconds, you get a shot or two on a live demo roll, and you have held the exact thing your guests would hold. Reading this on your phone? Tap the card instead, for the same place. On Android it opens in the browser, the same roll, through the web.

Or type it: crowdroll.cam/j/C4HNSM

What it costs

Usually twenty to sixty people for one evening. Crowdroll is free for events of up to five guests, and you are not counted as one of them. Above that you pay once for the event rather than by subscription — every size, add-on and pack is set out on the pricing page, with a builder that adds your own night up. There is nothing to cancel afterwards.

If you want more than the roll

The business pack

€69.99

The only occasion on this site more likely to be expensed than paid for personally, and the only one where a logo in the corner of every photograph is wanted rather than tolerated. The live wall is the part that earns it: a screen by the bar filling up as the evening goes, which is also the least awkward way anybody has found of telling a room the camera exists.

  • Your logo on every photo
  • Live wall
  • Slideshow of the night
  • Someone on the end of a phone

€24.97 less than buying those parts separately

Added when you create the event, and it applies to that event only.

Questions about work parties and leaving dos

Do colleagues have to make an account?
No. Not to shoot and not to look. An account only matters for somebody who wants the photos kept on their own profile afterwards, and nobody is nagged about it.
Can we put our logo on the photos?
Yes, that is one of the add-ons. Your mark goes on every photograph in the roll. There is also a live wall that shows the developed roll on a screen at the venue.
Who owns the photos afterwards?
Everyone on the roll can download the lot at full quality, straight into their own camera roll, and the host can remove anything from the developed roll before sharing it around.
