The disposable camera app for group trips that collects itself.
Four camera rolls, one group chat, and three people who never send theirs. Every group holiday ends the same way: a thread where everybody promises their photos, a handful of blurry ones actually arrive, and the rest quietly stay where they were taken.
Five days, one roll, and a nudge each evening so nobody forgets.
Group holidays generate four separate camera rolls and one WhatsApp thread where everybody promises to send their photos and three of them do. Set the roll to the length of the trip and it collects itself.

How it works
Set it up before you fly
Make the event at the gate or a fortnight out, and set the roll to the length of the trip. Six to fifteen people scan once and the whole week is covered.
Twenty-five shots, and a nudge each evening
Five a day. The reminder each night is what gets day four photographed as thoroughly as day one, which is where most group holidays quietly stop.
It develops the day you fly home
Everyone lands to the same roll waiting, at full quality and downloadable, which is further than a group holiday’s photographs normally get.
A nudge each evening, for five days
A week is long enough that people forget they are on a shared roll by Wednesday. So on any multi-day event the app reminds everyone each evening: one prompt, at a sensible hour, enough to get phones out over dinner and not enough to become the thing everybody mutes on day two. It is the difference between a roll that is full on Sunday and one that stopped on Tuesday.
It all downloads, properly
When the roll develops, everything in it is available at full quality, one photograph at a time or the whole roll at once, straight into your own camera roll. Nothing is held hostage in an app and nothing is compressed to make that cheaper. The point of collecting a week in one place is that you get to take it away.
What it costs
Usually six to fifteen people across several days. Crowdroll is free for events of up to five guests, and you are not counted as one of them. Above that you pay once for the event rather than by subscription — every size, add-on and pack is set out on the pricing page, with a builder that adds your own night up. There is nothing to cancel afterwards.
If you want more than the roll
The party pack
€44.99
A trip is the one event where the €5.99 fifty-shot add-on is the obvious purchase rather than an upsell, and on a week away, the version that stops counting altogether is usually the one that turns out to have been right. The film at the end is the part nobody makes themselves: everybody means to put the trip photos somewhere and almost nobody does.
- Slideshow of the night
- Unlimited shots
- 6 video messages each
€14.98 less than buying those parts separately
Added when you create the event, and it applies to that event only.
Questions about trips and holidays
- How long can a roll stay open?
- As long as the trip. You set the length when you create the event and the roll closes when the trip does, then develops on whatever schedule you chose. A lot of people pick the day they fly home.
- Does it work without signal or roaming?
- Yes. Shots are kept on the phone and upload when there is a connection again, so a day out of coverage costs you nothing. It catches up on hotel wifi without anybody doing anything.
- Is twenty-five shots each enough for five days?
- It works out at five a day, which is enough to keep people choosing their moments rather than shooting everything, and twenty-five is what a real disposable holds. If your group takes more photographs than that, fifty each is a €5.99 add-on when you set the trip up.
